Today we are graced with a debut EP from GNGSGNS (pronounced GangSigns). The band is actually a side project of Our Daily Fix, but roles are reversed as Thom (drums) is taking charge of the riffs and guitarist/vocalist Bryan is on the “skins” for this project.

While GNGSGNS is a side project, it is not that far off from the traditional math sound you commonly find from ODF, but packs just as large of a punch with such minimal sound. So just picture mathy-noise rock that clearly has a punk drive to it. If you find yourself not liking it, it may not be your cup of tea, but at the end of the day, you cannot deny the talent of the two and it is not even their main project.

So if you like things along the line of the strange, non punk tracks on the Tony Hawk game soundtracks, with a little bit of Hella influence GNGSGNS is perfect for you. You can download “EP” on bandcamp.
